The Key overseas Strategic Activities and Reasons
Tallo is aiming to widen its working relationship to promote cooperation, coordinate and facilitate of services in Somalia with the support and partnership work of Somali NGO’S, UN Agencies and other NGO’S and individuals. We have been asked by our partner organizations SOYDEN to introduce a similar model we have done in UK to act as a bridge between the Somalis NGO’s and UN agencies and other institutions plus to make a link between young people using our service in UK and Somali young people in Somalia. For example; we are trying to encourage our service users’ in particular young people to sponsor other young people in Somalia to share some of the opportunities, skills, knowledge and experience that the Somali young people in UK they have in either their education or social live. However, this kind of initiative Tallo cannot facilitate unless we change our status as an organization and that is why we are informing Charity Commission to change our status.

TALLO chapter will also be registered in Somalia and Kenya as we have representation on the basis of our operations in Somalia and Kenya. We also linked with UN agencies in particular United Nation Office for Coordination for Humanitarian (OCHA Somalia) to share our aimed work in Somalia. We are also aiming to become a member of British Overseas NGOs for Development.
